Another Dagas bottle ?

I did a search and couldn't quite find my particular situation for an answer.
Anyway I have a 08 97k miles. MPD Single turbo setup , Mishimoto radiator and IC, Byall tuned. Old degas bottle without the update venturi T fitting. I can drive for hours no issues , hot or cold weather. Even the occasional wot pull. But twice now out of 6-8 trips taken coolant has puked out of the degas bottle. I bought a Stant cap with no fix. The 2 times it did puke I was a little harder on it , hit the Rev limiter bc the trans was shifting late. Coolant never gets over 190s, exhaust runs clean. Before I assume it's heads gaskets could it be the old degas bottle?

How full are you filling it? Older bottles like yours and mine the hot fill level was higher. The “full mark” should be full when hot. Instead of cold. They will puke if it’s above that line when hot. They lowered the line with the later job models

Easy way to tell... Hook a pressure gauge up and go do a couple wot pulls. If pressure spikes with throttle, you have your answer.

Just a update , thrashed on it harder than I have in the past tonight with a pressure sensor hooked to the degas. Max psi I seen was 16.5 and it never puked. Idk what was causing it , maybe just gen 1 degas bottle and little to much coolant. I'll sleep better tonight.
