plus I just want to make sure you know the old low line is the new full line
also I had a similar issue and couldn't find the problem, but my degas bottle had a small crack in it I could only see with it out and in the sun.
replaced it with the ONLY dorman product my truck will ever see and it has been perfect since...about 20 k thus far
whole degas bottle cost me like 30 bucks on flea bay

You can get a dorman brand degas bottle and cap on Amazon for about $35. Quite a few of us on the .org are using them and have had great success.

i think I would rather replace my plastic one ten times for the same price...plus i like being able to see the level from anywhere in the engine compartment...
