Front cover water bypass outlet on a 2003 6.0l

Rebuilding a 2003 6.0l. The front cover was toast due to lifter failure, ran those bearings right through. Stripped old cover and got rid of it not realizing that the new aftermarket cover did not come with the water bypass tube. The outlet is between the thermostat housing and lower outlet. I have searched high and low to find just that outlet tube with no luck. I do not want to buy another front cover. Anyone know where to find one or a part #?

It should be a 3C3Z-8592-AB
Disregard that, the fitting between the thermostat and the lower outlet is part of the cover on the O.E. part

Wished I had spent the extra $$, to not have to deal with an "OEM" replacement part.

Spent two days now looking for just that part. I am thinking I am going to need to buy a used cover. Does anyone have one? It can be toast as long as the outlet is fine.

Does your aftermarket cover have a threaded hole in that spot or is it a smooth hole for a press in tube? Could it be that whatever company that made it just forgot to press in a tube?

you're talking about the pipe that has the one bolt retainer for the heater core line correct?

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the nipple in the attachment.

If it's not already threaded, I'd probably tap it and put a brass nipple on it. If it is already threaded... well same thing.
