Will 2008+ Seats bolt into a 2005?

Looking at replacing my seats with leather, wondering if I can get a set of like 2016 leather seats and bolt them into my 2005.

Anyone put the later seats into an earlier SD?

Thanks!

Absolutely, yes...they will bolt straight in. Wiring is a different story however. I have a full set of 2012 Lariat seats in mine...check my album for pics.

There will be variations as to what holes are in the carpet though... I swapped captions chairs out of my truck for the folding center console on my 2004 f350 and you may need to cut holes and verify the bolts on the body line up.

The vendor here sunrise ford parts can get you the wire harness connectors. I had to do it on mine because I went from heated leather power everything to just power sliding and non heated. cost me maybe $50 to get the mail/femail ends and looking up the power diagrams etc.

Thanks! My goal is to find a Lariat leather set with the 40/20/40 bench, which is what I have now, only in cloth.
