My 6.7 fuel pump instal

Anyone added a water separator and a filter, say Cat spin ons for example, before and after their pump? Also can you put a dummy filter in the 6.7? I was thinking of ways to simplify mine when I get around to installing. It won't really simplify the install but it will make changing filters easier and cheaper vs buying a 6.7 and 6.0 filter kit

I saw one a while back on here but can't remember where or who, I would also have mounted the filter sideways because his was hanging really low.

The EGR does to your engine what smoking does to your lungs.

Remember you can always improve on a design until the EPA gets involved.

I guess I could do that, but I'd still have to buy the 6.7 filters... I think I'm going to bypass the engine mounted fuel filter housing when I do mine so I need a smaller micron filter somewhere at a minimum. @Merc82 you have any pics of yours?

FWIW Alex, my idea to combat that is to build a mount for the secondary 6.7 filter in the engine bay and do a bowl delete in the engine bay. Since 6.7 filters only come as a pair anyways, it seems like the best option to me.....you'd just need a couple more fittings and a mount is all.

They don't make a dummy filter for the 6.7 pump? There goes my idea 2 frame mounted spin on filters and a good water separator.
