Need input on monitor

So I have an 07 that needs a monitor. I have pretty much decided on an edge cts2 as it seems to be the only real choice.

Is there a reason not to go with the juice? I am pretty sure it will automatically defuel for high egt, and has lots of other programmable features.

I guess I am just wondering why everyone recommends the insight with a separate tuner.

Edge’s tuning is not good at all. The juice in particular doesn’t tune the transmission either so they just rip transmissions apart.

There’s a reason why everyone goes with a monitor then an X4, as all the custom tunes available are far superior to any canned tuning. (Tunes that come with a device pre-loaded)

Is there any tunes available that won't melt down pistons, or would I be stuck with stock tuning to be safe?

Ok, I guess the biggest question is how long does it take to flash tunes with the x4? Is it a 30 second thing, or a drawn out song and dance?

Pretty dang simple, probably takes a total of a couple minutes all said and done. And lots of safe tunes out there, just get them from a reputable dealer. Not going to melt pistons by any means.

Well, I guess I will run with the insight. I will use the free accessory for a 100psi pressure gauge and I should be good to go. How do I get a stock flash with egr delete?
