Got the tune loaded up today. Thanks for the quick turn around time. So far the initial impressions are really good. Very linear power and the shifts seem to be spot on, which is a difficult thing to get right on my truck for some reason. Going to let it settle in for a bit before I start giving it the lead foot. Chatham036, I have your guys' FICM tuner as well. What FICM tune do you recommend with the tune you sent me? Thanks again.

I usually recommended the 40 to 100 depending on what you're doing with your truck. The best option would be for you to go as high as possible on the FICM tune while maintaining a reasonable EGT

Are you trying to update the firmware on the X3? Make sure you return the truck to stock first. What version of Windows are you using? If you are using Windows 8, 8.1, or 10 you will need to manually install the drivers. See attached.

I went from innovative diesel Street tune for the past 5 years and I just installed Ed's FICM REPAIR Ultra+Atlas 40 combo, along with the PHP 80 daily driver.

Review coming soon. But...

I now have a shift Flare from 2nd gear to 3rd year. Is there something I need to do to get rid of this shift flare? Should I do ANOTHER battery reset?

I had the batteries disconnected for 4 days while waiting for the FICM.
I put the FICM ULTRA+Atlas 40 combo first for 2 days. Then i put the tune in. I got the flair once I did the tune.

I alsi installed a mishimoto radiator about 3 months ago. Tranny fluid level is good. Fluid has always been in great health all its life.

Thanks for your time.

Give the trans time to relearn. Drive it moderately for the first 100 or so miles. Then report back.

Some trucks simply react slightly different than other with tuning. If you will send me an email, [email protected], I will work with you on the tuning to make sure we resolve the shift flare.

Are you sure the flare isnt 3-5 ?
A 2-3 shift flare is very uncommon.
