I agree it is not all the injectors, i was able to get a computer on the truck and it was reading codes on injectors 3 and 5. As well as a code for glow plug 1.

This situation is somewhere between tragic and mysterious. I say mysterious because shops tend to have outcomes that are either very simple (i.e., good) or soap opera-ish. This is obviously soap opera-ish and that always makes me wonder if it is by their design.

Check to make sure that your FICM connectors are solidly seated. I could see someone leaving them loose in order to "fix" it for you later with either a new FICM or a new set of injectors.

...or they made a mistake. Under the circumstances... I'd certainly believe that to be possible, too.

I never thought of that. So i did call this shop amd of coarse they can get me injectors in affordably.
The odd part is that the problem has been intermitent. When i asked him about that he said it is the fuel side which is the worst possible case cause it will cause the injector to stay open and weld a piston.
I never honostly thought of checking the ficm plugs and will do that tomorrow.
