new to me Excursion

Hello,
I am new to the forum but not really new to 6.0 powerstrokes. I recently purchased another excursion because there is just not anything else like it on the road.
As far as wagons go, it is "Biggley"
I bought it on Ebay, and got a good deal because it had the white crap all over the degas bottle. (I told the seller that it appeared to have a blown head gasket.)
Got it home and tore it down. APR studs, Heads checked out good, just resurfaced and guides, new oem gasket etc etc.
Also
Welded the EGR cooler (it was pretty clean and it is one of the tube kind )
flushed the oil cooler (owner stated that it was replaced about 10k miles ago)
Added a coolant filter
have a bypass oil filter for it but have yet to install
All new o-rings on the HPOP along with updated dummy plugs and up pipes. (still had the originals)
FICM 40 tune
SCT with Spartan tune (had that from a few trucks back) (when Spartan with down I ended up with a LOT of 6.0 tunes)
CST2 insite

It had front end problems because ....... Ford Superduty is French for "Front end issues".
New ball joints
and working out a track arm issue now.

I need to get a fuel pressure gauge for the insite ( I have EGT)
and
The over head display is blank or dead.

It has been awhile since I played with these, what is new and desirable for the old fords these days?

The edge insight is still considered an excellent monitor for any 6.0L owner. Im not sure on Spartan tunes but the SCTX4 (again just another sct product) seems to still reign supreme with the 6.0L ecm/tcm for tuning.

As far as coolant filters the IPR full flow coolant filter is seen as second to none to ensure the oil cooler stays unclogged and then the normal bulletproof diesel air cooled oil cooler conversion kits eliminates the oem oil cooler and the need for any coolant filter.

I owned an 04 excursion and really liked it just didn't end up needing it at the time.

Any plans for the new excursion?

-99 F250, 4X4, 6.0 trans cooler, 08 mirrors, 05 grill, AIS Intake, lvl kit, JW Vbody, cncfab hpop lines, WW2.

After I got done with the studs, I loaded a trailer for camping and went to Illinois for a week ( I live in Louisiana) It ran like a champ!
I will drive it to Dallas this weekend to visit family. That is what I will be doing with it. I have 8 grand kids and I am the grandpa that says "yes"
I will be taking them all to 6 flags over Texas.

They all think it is cool because it has a lift and sound like a real diesel.
