Time to give up the powerstroke...

With a growing family, its unfortunately time to sell the rig. But, I do believe it is time for an excursion!!!! Any tips or advice on the new platform?

Spring swap. Check the rear AC, there is a valve that likes to clog. Check the rear gate lock, key and power. Other than that it's pretty much a crew cab short bed.

I moved this thread to an Excursion section.

My wife and I debated and an Excursion for her, but we decided on a 2013 Expedition for her as of last Tuesday.

Honestly, if I could find an old centurion in decent condition I'd take it!

Mmm those rear AC lines like to rub on the passenger valve cover and leak there too.
Pain to replace them. Not cheap either since they run damn near the length of the vehicle.
Usually customer just opts to delete the rear AC at that point

The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.

Rear AC lines are a pain on my 4th set now I think and I can't delete it since I'm in South Texas I need all the cooling I can get.

Spring swap is a must in my opinion, along with a rear anti-sway bar if it doesn't have one.

The EGR does to your engine what smoking does to your lungs.

Remember you can always improve on a design until the EPA gets involved.
