Rear window

In an effort to rid myself of potential leaks I want to replace the sliding rear window with a solid one.Im trying to find an oem one but all I am seeing are clear ones.Is there a source for an oem tinted back window?

If I'm not mistaken there were no "privacy glass " solid windows, i believe they were all the green tint (clear)

are you using your truck as a submarine?

I have had my slider 13 years without a leak issue

I am sure you could find someone with a tinted solid to swap you

they are a little bit of a pain to remove but the rope / soap and back in

I am not sure but i would check I think the glass only version may take a different gasket because of the frame on the slider makes it thicker ?

Not a submarine but trust me Ive thought about driving it off a bridge, the slider is no match for the rainshine states almost daily downpours.Truck also has a rain roof,so Im over water leaks.
You are correct the glass only one does take a different seal.I found an aftermarket tinted solid window that comes with the seal,so Im gonna give that one a go.

As others have mentioned, the solid glass was not available as the privacy version for this generation.
