And when it comes to HID's who offers the best kit going for a hi/lo h13 kit these days? I've been running a DDM tuning kit trouble free since about 2008 but have recently had issues with the hi/lo function and have been putting some thought into something new.
I honestly dont know. I'm so dang busy between my regular job and the shop its tough to find dedictated time to work on the site.

I just ordered 4 sets about an hour ago, so hopefully they will be here monday. Since I have 06 housings in my 99 Ill be able to get a good first impression. I really like the LifetimeLED Superbrights now, but Im curious to see myself if the brights are significantly brighter then the dims, unlike the Lifetime's. They say so, but we shall see Monday if I get time to get them put in. Being I work nightshift Monday will be a good test anyway.

DDM has a pretty good reputation, so as far as quality it will be tough to beat them as far as HID's are concerned.

EDIT: I just got word back that all the GEN3's are sold out nation wide due to response at SEMA. There is no ETA right now either. UGH.....

As a matter of fact, they showed up yesterday.

But...I've been at the steelmill all weekend and I won't be home until 8pm.

10-4 my man! Just let me know what your impressions of them are when you finally get to test them. Any idea on the price?

Same price as the GEN2's. 189.99 free shipping. Not sure if that's an intro price they are doing or if the GEN2's are going to eventually go down in price.

Not so much on LED Headlights but on Pods and Bars. There is a pretty good difference in price from Lifetime LEDs and main brands like Rigid, VisionX and such. I have both Rigid's and VisionX's along with some Ebay China crap. You can tell a difference in the knock offs vs the main brands. How do the Lifetime LED bars and pods compare?

The LifetimeLED pods and bars are not much different than the other Chinese bars, except for one MAJOR difference. They really do have a no questions asked life time warranty. The company is great when it comes to replacement. Although I think they use a bit better housings than some other really cheap azz Amazon bars. They look similar in the pics, but there are alot of Chinese aluminum casting foundries that importers use to who ever gets them the cheapest bid.

Now, the Phantom Sun line of LifetimeLED is right up there with output as the Rigid. They are crazy bright. and the Phantom Sun pods and bars are actually brighter, by a little bit, than the Rigid and a good bit less money. They use the true Phillips 7w chip instead of the normal 3w chip. @najaf4life has a 20" Phantom bar and so does @Heavy_GD

Fo sho... Phantom light bar, for those that want the 50" light output without the flat brim hat look.
