4x4 not working

I believe my issue lies in the transfer case shift module located in the glove box. Does anyone know how to check it? I'd sure hate to buy one and that not be my problem. I've been through all my fuses and check the shift motor on the transfer case and it moves when voltage is applied.

All the air works great and the lights for 4x4 work. They just dont come on when engaging the switch. I bought a new switch thinking that was my problem and it wasn't. I have auto hubs and manual locking. I can lock them in and still nothing changes. Ice read other forums and have check most everything. I'm assuming it's in the control module just not sure of a way to troubleshoot it. I cant find any manuals online.

Forscan to read the codes and operate the t-case
you didn't mention if there were codes
fuses?, relays?, shift motor?
there is a lot more to getting the t-case to shift positions

Are you good with a test light and meter?
year and model of the truck would help

General note:
For all those wanting a premium silicone sealer Kubota 70000-73764 is the best your gonna find. This is a hybrid gray silicone that uses solvent rather than acid to start the curing reaction, this makes it safe for aluminum and and any surface that involves coolant.

It's a 2007 f350 srw. Relays are good and the fuses all check good. I can use a meter at the connector for the shift motor and I dont get a voltage change on the pins. That's why I assume the module is bad. From what i read that is what controls the transfer case after the relays get the signal from the switch to change into 4 hi or 4 lo. If I could find a pin out for the connector to the module i believe i could troubleshoot it with that to determine if it is bad or not. I found a diagram for which fuses and relays are for 4x4. I dont have a manual for my truck so I used what I found in forums. And the only codes I have are for my egr which was deleted by the previous owner.

The switch gives a different resistance value for each position to the 4x4 module
the module in turn operate which ever relay is needed
The position sensor on the shift motor then returns a signal

Does the troubleshooting info that @G8orFord posted not give enough info?
what are you using to pull codes?
