NEED BATTERY ADVICE.....OPTIMA?

I've had it with these Motorcraft puking acid every 2.5-3 years, I even have one on the passenger side that has a gap between the case and the bottom of the post. I want to upgrade to Optima. Is it worth the cost? How long do they last on average?

I had a set of blue tops years ago ( a lot of years ago) and they were great

but my yellow tops didn't last for squat and had terrible real-life reserve capacity

then i started reading about how they moved operations to mexico and pretty much

i like my Autozone platinum AGM's and I hear good things about Odessy AGM

Odyssey AGM if you can afford them, Duralast AGM is good also as mentioned above.

Iíve run Optima on race cars, boats, trucks, cars, for years. The quality in the last year or so has gone down and Iíve had to replace 2 within a year of purchase.

Surprisingly, walmartís everstart maxx getís great reviews and has a pretty good warranty to boot. Reviews generally been better than the eveready or Costcoís (after their switch to interstate). I bought a couple of theses earlier this year after doing a bunch of reading of reviews by other users.
