Ford Apps2car Aux Adapter

Has anyone else tried installing the auxiliary adapter to their stock head unit. I love listening to my music off my phone but in my 05, no aux plug, so I bought this. I'm still waiting for it to come in. its the Apps2car Ford Aux adapter from amazon, its about $30 bucks. I was seeing if anyone else has tried these or installed one. Seems pretty straight forward just hope the audio quality is good. I just installed my sub behind my rear seat about a month ago so I hope this will sound good.

plugs into factory 16 pin if you have the CD changer, did the install the other day it works good took me longer to get the dash apart than to install. If you have the Aux button on the radio it should work.

Sorry I'm late guys - what did I miss? Yeah, Plug and Play. BLS is correct - takes longer to crack open the dash than to install. I like it - works for me. Has a wired remote so it's easy to skip or pause a song. Also has a USB port to play songs from (I assume cuz I never tried it)

I have an old Nexus 7 Bluetooth loaded with music utilizing the PowerAmp App. Works awesome!!!

Any more questions?

The only problem I see with this adapter is the Bluetooth is limited by itís age. Bluetooth has upgraded since 2005. Most newer phones work with Bluetooth version 4.1 and higher. This is probably working on at best version 3.0. Backwards compatibility is possible but usually versions 1-3 donít communicate well with 4 and up. My phone is an iPhone X which uses the latest Bluetooth 5 and it definitely would not work with that adapter.
