Transmission fluid leaking from bellhousing

I have a 2005 f250 6.0l crew cab. Yesterday my father in law borrowed my truck to move our 8000lb camper to campsite. This morning I noticed a very large puddle of tranny fluid on driveway and all over the bottom side of truck. I've determined that its leaking out of a rectangular shaped rubber inspection seal from lower end of bellhousing. I have no idea if he overheated it or not. I have a sct monitor but dont know if he was watching trans temps. I just replace both filters and replaced oil with mercon lv about 1000 miles ago. Any ideas? Any help appreciated.
