Hate to keep digging on this topic, but where are you buying them from? Dealership? Ebay?

Many aftermarket people advertise Motorcraft injectors, which they truly are, but they are rebuilt by whatever cheap rebuilder they can find. Lots of problems have been cause by this "intentional twisting" of the truth.

Another thing to think about since this showed up after extensive engine work. The injector wiring harness was removed during the engine work and they get brittle with age. You could have a wire harness problem not an injector problem.
bismic, BTL and Hydro like this.

I gave up and took it to the dealer. I'll find out for sure on Thursday, but they're thinking loose or broken rocker on cylinder 1. I can't remember the name of the software they use, but #1 was only showing 40% efficiency.

Thank you for all your input.
