STC on HPOP

I've got the HPOP out of my 2007 F350 to do the STC. In the kit was a new Allen plug for the top. Is that hole to precharge the pump with oil?

I didn't mess with it when I did my STC fitting. The old wasn't leaking and I didn't see any reason to mess with it. I didn't need to do my oil cooler when I was in there, so there was hardly any cranking required to get it started. I don't think you need to precharge the pump.

Did yours have the old style fitting? I thought the 07's came with the new non-STC fitting from the factory?

Yes, its the old style 2 piece one. Its a lot different than the new one I got from Ford.
I needed to do the oil cooler so while everything is apart, I wanted to do the STC fitting even though it wasn't leaking.

Good call! I'd rather be a proactive guy rather than reactive. Well, about my truck, that is. The honey-do list I'll sit on till I get yelled at LOL

Good call, Jokester. Well over a year ago, my wife started talking new end tables. I told her I'd make some. The delay has been successful, but a month ago she started dragging me to furniture stores and looking on line. I found a nice maple live edge slab for $20 for the project, hopingvthat will keep her satisfied until the fall. Then I'll slowly work away at it.

I started to put the HPOP back in the truck, but ran into an issue. The STC kit didn't have an O ring or gasket to seal the STC fitting to the block. I don't recall seeing anything there when I took it apart either.
What seals the STC fitting to the block?

There should be an o-ring that goes in the branch tube to seal to the fitting. Start watching at 14:30

Well, I guess that answers that question. I put seals and screen on the IPR 1st. When I took it apart there was a square hard seal and a softer round seal, so that's what I put back. From the clip, seems the hard seal is for the HPOP, not the IPR. Thanks.

Fuel Filter Fitting

I guess I terminated this fitting in the fuel filter. I must have been to rough loading the parts washer I doubt it can be salvaged since the o ring hole is no longer round.
Does anybody have one I can buy, or know where I can get one?
