I am looking to buy a edge cts to monitor my trucks vitals. I'm talking about the one just to monitor stuff. Do I need to buy anything else with it. What comes with this package?

You need the CTS and the EAS EGT probe.

Shockley6.0, What year is your truck? The insight comes out of the box ready to plug in. If you want you can add the pyro probe and other universal sensors. However, I will let you know that on the some of the earlier trucks what the unit monitors is a little less than what you see on the newer models. Overall though the Insight CS & CTS are a great unit and I would highly recommend them. Let me know if there is anything we can help you with or if you have any specific questions in regards to the units.

My truck is a 2003. What is the difference between in the egt probe.....I believe there is two options.

One allows you to add additional sensors to the CTS one doesnt.

You want the EAS EGT probe

Yup, just like Dave said. You can add additional sensors in a "pig-tail" fashion. Take a look at the first additional picture on this product page.

ok one more question does this come with the mount to the window?

They'll come with the universal suction cup mount. It's actually pretty sturdy too. It'll be all you need unless you opt for a dash pod.
