Where in Wyoming...

can I find a nice place to live, work, and raise a family? I live in CO now, and love it, but the liberals are starting to really piss me off here! Taxes are looking like CA's, politicians are in it for themselves, and not what they were sworn in to do. With our current governors race, I'm worried that the libs will really screw things up, if the current douche, Denver Mayor gets in the gov mansion. PLus, the illegals are THICK

I do HVAC/ building management at the moment, but enjoy working with my hands, and using my brain for work. This move, IF it happens, won't be for a year or so, but I'd like to get some info if it does happen. We want to live in the mountains, Medicine Bow NF , or any other mountain area, where I can have some land and eventually build me a big out building

My neighbor's son lives in Riverton WY. I don't know much about it, have never been there. They seem to like it.

P.S. Wyoming has no state income tax.

And there isn't a bunch of liberals running around trying to cure poverty and homelessness, demanding rights for illegal immigrants, they have oil AND they drill for it etc! Win, win IMO, but I also have to find a job

Its pretty well known that WY is a VERY conservative state. Its full of ranchers, and farmers . If I was financially well off, I would move up there and try to find a jo being a ranch hand

That was my buddy and I's dream when we were in school, to own and operate a ranch. Now, being older, I know that's not really a realistic dream, since land is so GD expensive

I almost took a job in wyoming working on land rigs and doing some other stuff. I think it was in Rawlins WY. Nothing there and I was good with that, not in the mountians... but thought I would chime in. I would love to live in the Mountians.... ahhh. Good luck with your plan, I hear it's nice up that way.

Its like 7 below here this morning, and supposed to be around 18 below tonight. the more I think about this bitter cold, the more I feel like being in TX

It was around 62 when I went to bed last night, but front came through this morning and they're sayin 24 tonight, and we might hit 40 tomorrow.... which is cold for this part of the country. Slight chance of soem frozen precepitaiton Thursday and Friday.... 8)
