Unhappy Sad Day & Happy Day

Has anyone heard the sayng? "That when one life is born, another is gone".

Well I do know this is true. About a three weeks a go a good friend of mine just had birth to a 9lb baby boy, and yesterday I had the privlage to watch him all day while she was at a wedding.

Right about that same week my grandma went back to the hospital. She as been fighting heart problems, bad asthma, and very bad diabetes for the last couple years..... Long story short at the same time I was holding that little bundle of joy, grandma gave up the go.

The part that kills me the most I HAD tickets to go home and see every during the 4th of July.

She always wanted to see me in my Marine Corps uniform, so I was thinking that I should wear my Alpha's instead of a coat and tie.

Man, I don't know what to say other than I am sorry to hear about your Grandmother, and congrats to your friend on the little one.

That's what I was thinking. Mom and I thought it would mean a lot to her.
