Men! (?)

So what makes him get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and not return?
He ends up sleeping on the couch...no, the tv did not get turned on. Kitchen lights do...
When I go get him he wakes up, gets a drink and heads to bed without a word.
Not the first...or second time...

WTF?

Sleep walking, you should talk to him about maybe having a sleep study done. Talk to Granny on here about sleep studies she used to conduct them.

Other then that maybe you need to sit down and just talk about it. Maybe it is not him, maybe, you are the one with a sleep disorder or snoring. That wakes him up, so he sleeps on the couch so he can sleep.

He maybe stressed out, when you have high stress levels you end up not sleeping good. Maybe he gets up goes to the bathroom, then sits on the couch and worries about something to the point he just falls a sleep on the couch.

Maybe the mattress is causing him back pain.

There are many many reasons for this.

But sitting here asking us about, well your asking the wrong people. You need to be talking to him about this.

I know at least for me, I was doing things like that because of a lack of sleep. I was sleepwalking, and would carry on conversations with my wife and not even know I was doing it. May be a place to start.

I agree. Most women hold it in all day and unsuspectingly release copious amounts of gas while sleeping!
