Taylor guitar as a result of breakup

Hey fellas (and gals),

Well my girlfriend of 3 years left me because I had a problem with her cousins' drinking, drug, and sleepin around problems. btw, they all claim to be Christian, so it's a big deal. Basically, because of my gf's rebellious past, I had trouble trusting her to go out with them and not f up. She hated that. Plus the whole doctrinal thing was ignored because its family. Its more complicated than that but that's the jist of it.

Next topic. Because of this newly found funding that I reallocated since I don't need to buy her stuff anymore, I am looking to getting a new guitar. I really like the Taylor grand auditorium, and don't want to spend over 1000. I've played several 114ce and 214ce models, and to be honest, every 114 i have played has sounded better than every 214.

Basically, does anyone have a 114ce or comments about it? if you have it, could you post how much you got it for? a new one from guitar center qas quoted at 850. they're pretty friendly with me and will order me several so I don't get stuck with a b.

And by the way, if i had between 1800 and 3000 to spend on this, I would jump right on either a 614ce or 814ce. (the 6 seems to have a bit too thick of a laquer feel to it, whereas the 8 is more natural.)

I don't remember which model it was but there is a night and day difference between Taylors and others. I wish I had one so bad
