Are you worried about them. Are you worried what impact they could have on your kids.

Here is some info for you parents out there. You are no longer able to identify gangs by colors. It is so syphosicated now, that sport clothing, emblems, and even clothing is now used. The days of Red/Blue/Black/White bandanas or shoe strings are so old and out dated.

Back in my day you used to be able to indentify a certain gang by the color. That is no longer good.

Start looking for other identifactions. Like a lot of clothing of one brand. Or a lot of clothing for one certain sport team. Also look at your kids friend's clothing. Are they always wearing clothing of a certain brand or sport team. This could be an identifaction of gang affliation.

The list is long so I am not going to post all the identifactions for all the different gangs.

Another thing to look for is drawings of certain things on notebooks, back packs, and other things of that sort.

Drawings of 6 or 5 point stars, crowns wether it is 5 or 6 point crowns. Drawings of the playboy bunny, nike swoosh, swatzica, skull and cross bones, what we used to consider doodling or random drawings may now be considered gang tagging.

If you are able to go to your kids school check out there locker. See if there are pictures of these things hanging on the inside of the locker. Kids now are hiding there affliation with certain groups from there parents. Because they do not want to be asked questions like, Why do you only buy and wear North Carolina Tar Heel Clothing, or why do you wear only nike clothing, or reebock.

Parents need to step up there knowledge on this. Because gangs are stealing kids from families faster then we know it.

Also another thing is look at the websites your kids go to. I bet you did not even know that gangs are now using the net. They use it to recruit new members. They even have websites now. I will not post the sites on here due to COC reasons. But I will provide them if you request through a pm.
