Stupid Man Code

Ok so since I'm a chick I figured this is where I vent on my boyfriend.

OK so it all started the other day. He asked me if it was ok to go on a mini trip this weekend with some of his boys. I said I was uncomfortable with it and he got all pissy and said that he was going anyways... I said well I want to go and he was like well you wont have fun because we're going to the bars (I'm 19). I asked one of the other guys if he was going because he is 19 also. I guess he did something wrong by not calling my boyfriend and asking if it was ok for us to go together and then a mutual friend told him that my boyfriend was pissed at him. Well I was told it was man code to have the guy call my boyfriend as a sign of respect. My man told me that we didn't know these people very well and he was uncomfortable...so pretty much what he got mad at me for saying about the weekend... but he didn't see they were the same and he went anyways. Well as soon as they pulled away last night he text me saying he was sorry he was an azz to me and that I was amazing and he loved me... I just don't get it.... why did he have to prove to me that he was a hard-azz and then all of a sudden feel guilty and be a push-over.

CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN MAN CODE?

you have to many people in the story refered to as "he"....
so you asked his 19 year old friend if he "was going" or was he already planning to go? what was the 19 y/o supposed to call your boyfriend about???

maybe i'm just a tard and don't get it?????

The man code has prevailed since before fire. We have been struggling throughout civilization to be as difficult as woman and have not worked out the kinks. It's very hard to explain, but even more so difficult to live up to.
