Addiction to horsepower

My wife does not understand my need (addiction) to modify my truck or her Durango. Tim the Tool Man is a hero of mine. I admit I might be a tad obsessed
with wanting to make something better than stock, But who isn't? Anyone else with this problem?

That is why i have a lot of projects and not one of them are where i would like them to be. But who am i kidding they will never be. I will say one thing though she likes it.

every vehicle i've ever owned has been modified, with the exception to one. i need more power, i need to go fast. and its a hobby of mine to sit in the garage and wrench on something, whether it be my bike, talon or now the PSD.

the only vehicle i havn't touched is my Expedition, originally purchased to tow before i felt the need for diesel. she's bone stock with 208k miles and still goin strong. i'm pushing for 300k, we'll see!

fortunately though i've never dated a girl who got upset with me, they always loved riding in my cars because they were fast, or in the PSD now because its a big a$$ truck. girls love big trucks and speed as much as we do i guess? My dad was always the one complaining about me spending money on modding things. until he got a diesel too and he's starting to get the bug....
