USS Midway pics.

Took the family down to the floating museum USS Midway today. Big parade, bunch of old timers out telling stories, pretty cool day. Me and jr even snuck up to the bridge for a few.

Damn I miss pulling into San Dawg. Great city and great people. Is the Kansas City BBQ still at Seaport Village?

I nailed that pic of Old GLory, man that thing was near the top of the bridge, WAYYYY up there. Its such a cool place, the kids can run through the helo's and climb up into the ****pits of the planes. We went down below deck and I tell you what, my back nearly gave out in one hour. I'm 6'9" and theres no room for anyone above 6" down there.

Awesome pics. I'm jealous!

My best friends went to San Diego over the summer. They got me a shirt from the Midway that says "got freedom?" I wear it a lot. One time someone asked me what it meant....a college student....I was pretty much speechless.

Now I am really sad. We used to go there once a week when I was in school out at NTC and the wife and I were talking about taking another trip down there with that and Sea World as the best part of the trip.
