Thanks man! I can honeslty say i love this guy... when he was a pup, only about 5 months, he was mauled by a stray pitbull and some pit mutt that were loose around our area. A neighbor told me he saw them and took some shots with his pistol to scare em off. When i got home that day i couldnt believe what happened. I went over to the guys house who i beleive they belonged too, he denied they were his. Turns out later that year, he got busted for dog fighting. Dude for several days poor henry couldnt even move, his whle body was swollen. I had a friend who is a vet come and see him, he ok'd the stitches my cousin did and asked us how we dressed the wounds and gave him antibiotics and the such.. I figured he was gonna be a ruined dog, but he bounced back.... he is very loyal and watchful and gets along great with kids, my little bro used to ride him like a horse! haha!

Sad story, But it builds character in a dog. I bet you he watches over that little girl like a hawk.
My son's grandparents have an old Yellow Lab. When my son is out there that dog follows him everywhere, Not for attention but protection. He will bark anytime Ayden is doing something dangerous. ( Finding snakes, Getting to close to the Rams) and so on. You find a good dog they turn out to be a blessing.

Wow those are some beauts! that husky has amazing eyes..

Oh and please nobody get the wrong impression about what i put about the other dogs being pits... I have no animosity towards the breed, its dg stupid owners that i do not respect. Dogs have personalities in themselves and yes certain traits carry through different breeds, but when a person doesnt know how to treat or abuses an animal, not only does the animal pay for it but others do too.

i totally agree with you and the dog oweners, they are mostly at fault for how a dog acts. everyone always says " wow, look at his eyes... is he nice??" i laugh and say " yeah, he is just a big baby." which he is but the eyes always intimidate people...
