That's my girl!

Thought i'd share this with some guys who could appreciate it.

Took the family to Dairy Queen for dinner and ice cream friday night. Friday is my day of the week that I stay up for 30 hours(a whole nother story) so I was tired and asked my wife to drive home. She's not crazy about my truck and rolls her eyes at me when i'm rollin' coal, and gives me that boys will be boys look I always get.(you guys know the look)

Well, I had the sunroof open as usual to get the maximum effect from the stack. She said "I'm afraid to get on it too much, it's so quick and so loud!" It was on econo. I reached over and switched it to the 140 aggressive and said "go ahead, get in it." Well she did, and she smiled as my sons in the back seat were yelling "mom made smoke, mom made smoke!"

Then within 1/2 mile another truck is coming at us in the other lane. It's a 99-03 style gasser that is lifted about 8" with 37's on it. I see the guy around town all the time, but I don't know him. Well as soon as she sees him she hammers on it...I mean tons of smoke...I'm just sittin there watchin her with a big sh!t eatin grin on my face, and she is smiling too checking out the stack in the rearview. I was so proud of her.
I think i've converted her.
Life is good.
Sorry for the length.

I wish...prying the steering wheel from her hands is going to be easier than prying the checkbook from them

That sounds like my wife a couple of weeks ago. We went to pick up my Dad's truck at the gun range and she was driving my truck when we left. I forgot to turn down the chip before I got out. When she turned onto the highway, the truck went sideways a bit and she was leaving black marks. All she could say when I got back in the truck with her at Dad's was "that was fun!"
