Take care of yourselves

I'll skip the gore and visual images and just get straight to the point. If you find something wrong with your bodies (i.e. a lump in you breast) please don't wait to get it looked at. I can't begin to describe what I saw at work today in the ER, so please just take my advice.

I can only imagine how frightening it might be to discover something "wrong", but please get checked out. If your best friend has to hold your hand and walk you in to the doctor, then do what it takes.

I have to leave it at that.
Craig

It is a sight I am sure I will carry to the grave, it was that bad.

The positive aspect of this story is that the patient was completely comfortable with the fact that her time is very short. When the doc asked her if she knew what her condition meant, she said replied that she was going to die but that was ok because quality of life was more important to her than quantity.

I agree. I have a few gigs of pics from ER, OR, and in/outpatient departments. I remember a few times in 1999 or 2000 that I had to grab a bunny suit and go into OR because of a system failure. One was a multiple gun shot the other was a hysterectomy. Don't ask which one was worse.
