Just another reason I need to learn to STFU!!!

Well, here is just MORE proof to everyone that sometimes I just don't know when to be quite. Last night I was able to goto the Bar for Open Mic Night, eat a little and have a few beers. I decided not to play, just chill w/ the guys I know there and hang out. Well, this girl walks in and sits next to me and we start talking. I made it ABUNDANTLY clear that I was 'taken' and she was cool w/ it. She is dating a guy and we were just 'comparing notes' so-to-speak. We talked about eveything from me being a new Daddy to her job to sex. She wanted to get a man's point of view on a few matters and I was willing to chat about it.

Now, before I go ANY further, I must say that she was an attractive woman. She was about my age, professional, and all that.

So we are talking and Jessie calls. SO I go outside to talk to her. Well, I had had about 6 beers at this time and I'm a little "lubricated" and knowing that we have an honest and open relationship, I tell her that I was talking to this girl. I made it clear that nothing was going on, and really the only reason I told her is that I feel it's better to tell her about stuff myself, immediately than to have someone else tell her about it a week later. Well, after I tell her that me and this girl are "just hanging out and talking about stuff" she gets mad at me and says, "good night" and hangs up.

So, I'm now in trouble for one of the two reasons: Either she is mad b/c I was chatting it up with some other girl or she's mad b/c I went out and drank lastnight and didn't tell her I was going out.

Now I DID get a little text from her saying to the effect, "I'm not mad about you talking to that girl", but in all reality, you NEVER know.

As of right now, she is still miffed at me and I really don't know (other than listed) what I did wrong.
Everyone that knows me will tell you that I'm not the "cheating kind", and I had soo many witnesses that saw that I wasn't even flirting with this girl. It was like two guys chatting about stuff, except she had boobs and a va-jay-jay!!! LOL.

WTF should I do guys? I'd appologize, but I don't know exactly what I did wrong, you know? I don't wanna say it's the pregnancy talking, but you think it could be? Grrr....I'm soo confused!

Advice is welcomed.

That's true. My buddy who was there last night sent me a little message today to the effect of "Dude...if you were single, you could have totally gone home with that chick!!!" And I could have, I think, if I was that kind of guy. What confuses me is why ME? I'm not half as 'pretty' as a lot of the other guys that were there, I've got a beer-gut, and I wear Buddy Holly glasses!!! LOL. I guess it was just my winning personality!!!! LOL

Don't sweat it man, she must know by now that your the trusting sort or she wouldn't be with ya still. Communication is key in a relationship so what you did was a good thing especially if you knew "word" would have gotten back to her about chatting with this other girl. Like all men need to do constantly is say "I'm sorry for whatever it was that made you upset, can we talk it over?" BTW the hormones thing doesn't help. LOL

Nah, I say she is just a little emotional...you two have a lot going on, and any little thing might be a big thing to her!!!

Just make sure you spend extra quality time with her if the schedules allow to make up for it.

Oh yeah, and the biggest phrase to learn is, "Yes, Dear!"

When you're single, chicks never want to talk to you. Once you're taken, they come out of the woodwork!
