Tis the season!

So we have a newer family tradition at our house these last couple of years... Actually it's only the 2nd year in a row but that makes it the second annual doesn't it???

My kids are always on my butt days before Thanksgiving to put the Christmas tree up. They started this year last Friday. Told them we couldn't put the tree up until at least after Thanksgiving dinner, like we did last year. So the moment we walked in the door from dinner, they kicked off their shoes, threw their coats on the floor and ran for the decorations... My job is to put up the tree and then hand them the decorations to put up!

Got done and thought I'd snap a couple of pics. Just had to share... Feel free to add your own to the thread too!

(ps: sorry for the crappy cell phone pics)

Cute kids, Kurt. Our tradition is to put up the tree tomorrow. I'll get some pics once we get ours done. It's one of the best ways we can spend time as a family.

That cat is evil... It's only about 9 months old so it's still a kitten. Damn thing bounces off walls it's so hyper.

No pics yet, Kurt. We decided instead to redecorate my home office. We spent all day yesterday getting everything rearranged and there's still a bunch of stuff we don't know where to put. Sounds like we will be getting a garage sale going. Maybe we'll get our Christmas stuff pulled out and put up today...

We're getting ready to head to a family function. I plan on getting the outside lights put up this afternoon. I've been working on switching everything to leds, but good Lord, some of that stuff is expensive I think I'm just going to put up the icicle lights and be done. Hopefully, I'll have everything replaced by next year and I can really show the neighbor what's up
