STOP what you are doing and go hug your kids!

If you read several forums you might see this again. I am posting this on all the forums I hang out on. My oldest(9 yr old) had a friend from her class that lived right next door. Yesterday morning about 6 am we were awoke by lights from a fire truck. Not wanting to be nosy we just watched from inside. This morning we got a knock on the door about 9 am. It was the Dads sister coming to tell us that Daniel had past away. Daniel woke up yesterday getting ready for school went in and told his Dad that he had a headache. 3 seconds later he fell over. Apparently he had some kind of a deformation at the base of his skull and was bleeding into his brain. Mansfield brought him through and they transported to Cooks. But every time they would turn him over to do surgery he would code. They said that at 10:30 last night they called it. Just another reason to go hug your kids and THANK GOD for every day that you get to spend with them. JJ

Our kids are the most precious gifts we as parents can ever receive. My heart goes out to this family and all others who have lost a child. No parent should out live their child.

My and my families sympathies.

Damn...

The heartbreak that family must be feeling... I couldn't imagine it.

My little boy just hopped off my lap not 5 minutes ago. His big sister is listening to her Hannah Montana CD in her room. They are my life and wouldn't know what to do if I lost either of them.
