Once a cheater, always a cheater?

So I was talking to one of my buddies today and we were discussing this. He told me that once a cheater, always a cheater, and any guy that has cheated before will never stop on any of his girlfriends, ever, and you should never trust someone who's cheated before.

In my experience, girls are like this for sure but with guys, I don't know? I know some guys who will be/are now true to their girl because they love her so much. Anywho I'm wondering if you think it's true or not??? Just curious

people change... we grow up.. truely fall in love etc... so to say this i dont agree.. for men or women... we have all made stupid decisions and mistakes in our lives.....thats what makes us human

It dosent always apply to everybody but for most i say so. If you ever get cheated on i say there is no second chances i say they will do it again. Now if that persone finds some one they truly love they may not cheat but the persone they cheated on they evedently did not love in the first place SO GET OUT.

I won't say once a cheater always a cheater. It depends on a lot of variables. I myself have never actually cheated on a girl, though i almost have and wanted too, but thats because i was not at all in love with her and i hated being with her. So i broke up with her before i lowered myself to cheat. However the one relationship i was in that i actually really loved her, other women pretty much didn't exist.

I say if you really love someone you wont cheat, regardless of your past, and if you cheat, you obviously don't love the person.

If i were to be cheated on there would be no second chances.

In some cases yes, once a cheater always a cheater, but not always. I will say that if you date a slut, expect her to stay a slut.

while yes i may be young at the age of 20 and have done stupid things in the past (cheated once), i believe i have gotten over this for i have found the one person that truly makes me feel happy. yes we have some disagreements but who doesn't. people change, some quicker than others. then theres the other % out there that make stick this statement for some. if someone really wants to change and they devote themselves to it then yes they can change.

but I do believe that if relationship started by cheating, then it will end with cheating
