Anyone from the La Crosse Area???

I'm new to the forum and have just introduced myself in the new members forum and posted over in 6.0 motor issues forum. It was suggested there to post here to see who was in my area.

To reiterate what I posted in the motor forum:

"I just bought my truck and have had it about a week or so. I've noticed that when accelerating normally/lightly (unloaded) between 35 and 55 mph that the engine seems to pulse/surge some. It's not horrible, but somewhat annoying. I've tried to keep an eye on the tach and boost gauge and have noticed that the tach fluctuates slightly, but the boost doesn't seem to change. I'm pretty handy with a wrench, but this is my first diesel. Any ideas?

Also, if there is anybody here that knows of a good shop (reputable and fairly priced) in the La Crosse, WI area, I would appreciate a reference."

we arent exactly close.. but i work for pure diesel power. we are up in marshfield. im still unfamiliar with the 6.0 but im learning.
