Looking for a smoother ride

I have a 2000 F250 extended cab 4x2 that is completely stock, including wheels and original equipment Firestones. I don't tow or haul anything anymore and use this truck as a commuter vehicle. I'm willing to sacrifice load capacity for a smoother ride, and not sure what kind of tires to look at. I want a stock size (LT265/75R16). Thanks for your help.

Good Tip Caryt Air pressure and shocks make a big difference. A good tire to run that will not sacrifice load capacity is the Nitto Dura Grappler. This tire rides extremely smooth and quiet and is built for not only towing, but milage making this tire a great value. Check out the link for more details.
