Park brake cable support?
Hi all, I have a 2000 F-250 extended cab, full length box, 4x2, and on my way to work last week I planted my foot on the brakes and it rapidly disappeared to the floor! Turns out I blew the short (~1') steel brake line on top of the rear axle on the LHS. Where the parking brake cable on that side loops over the axle it has come free of whatever is supposed to support it and it lay on the brake line until it chafed through. Might someone be able to supply a picture of how the park brake cable is supposed to be supported? Thanks, Sam
