Family bailed me out of quadruple digits.

I am counting my lucky stars for having such a wonderful family. My truck is getting close to 200k on it, and over the weekend stuff started breaking and rearing their ugly heads. It was a long weird story.
I'll start from the beginning, my buddy needed someone to watch his 110lbs German Shepard so I offered to watch him in my apt. My neighbors complained of him walking around and barking and keeping them up and whatnot, so I had to take him back home and watch him at their place. But then they realized I had a cat so she has to go too.
My mom offered to travel down from Michigan to pick her up and visit for Valentines/Presidents Day (off from school)
So she just happened to be here and we were driving all around and my left caliper seized up. Or started seizing. It dragged and let go, and pulled and let go, so I knew it was on its way out.
Got it towed from her AAA, to a shop and they test drove it, sure enough SEIZED it became. They said it turned the rotor blue so that sucker got a little hot. They diagnosed it and also had NO alignment because the right upper and lower ball-joints were shot. And they decided to fix my ABS sensor which I left burned up on purpose. (Not a fan of ABS)

Sooo I get 2 new calipers, turned rotors, re-packed bearings (which were not destroyed thankfully), new upper ball joint right side, new lower ball joint right side, an ABS sensor front right side, and a front end alignment. Cost about a grand in parts and labor.... Grandma/Grandpa/Mom/Dad are helpin me out, cause I'm already hurtin for money.I love them.
I might be gettin a new job soon though so that might be nice. PHP chip will end up bein on hold lol!

That was cool of them heck yeah !!
But what would be even better is if you get the new job, is to send them some cash to show that you are a man and willing to pay them back. Even if they don't want the money back this will show them what a person you are !

We're not so different you and I! My parents helped me out when I had my little 1500$ accident. I'd be screwed without them! I am also hurtin for money right now...making payments is getting tougher and tougher.
