Widening factory rims on a dually

Has anyone done this? I would love to make them 16x8 in the front, would I need to remove the front spacer or can I just keep it. Would I have any issues in the rear also? I already have the 2" spacer for the rear btw. Or I can go with a 16x8 ion wheel like this one

Then just run the dually rear 16x6
