Shop won't install 315's on stock dually rims

So Discount tire informed me that they will not install 315/75r16 on my dually rims because they're only 6.5 inches wide.

Where are you guys getting your tires installed?

Most tire shops wont install tires on rims that are outside of the tire manufacturers specs (wide or narrow). Its primarily for liability reasons and due to the fact that you wont be a happy customer due to the funky handling and poor tire wear.

Would someone delete that last member's post. I did not ask nor do I care what "most" shops will or will not do.
I asked a question of dually owners who have had larger tires mounted on stock size rims where they have had this done.
Please keep all comments that do not pertain to the question asked to yourself.

Whole thread should be deleted if you aren't smart enough to find someone to install tires for you. Call Joe Blow's tire service

Sorry, i've read your thread and have a few questions.

The 315mm tires will go 3" outside the rim.
Wouldn't the high angle between the wheel out side and the rim don't cause a spongy drive ability in cause of the high wheel movement between tire and rim?
And make the high movment balancing the wheels impossible?
Is there enough space between the dualwheels to take the additional 6" tire wide? Aren't you afraid about rubbing the wheels against eachother?

Without having your location listed then your question limits the answers you could receive.
