I was about 70 miles from home and heard a bang coming from the rear. It happened mostly while turning, my first thought " NOT A REAR !!!!" My wife was was I thinking if this thing lets loose it's gonna cost me to have it towed. Made it home backed it in the garage blocked the wheels and started tear down.......nothing broke it the axle???? Put it back together took the wheels off ran it forward nothing ran it backward would go. Took the caliper off thinking a shoe broke, well it was not only broke but the plate was rotted. Went to the passenger side and "WOW!!" nothing at all no shoe, springs, nothing. Has anyone ever had the plate rot away? I had to stick it back together for use till I get replacement parts.
