305/70/16 tire rubs on passenger leaf why?

I have a 2000 F250 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4 7.3. My mechanic has an 04 and he mounted 305/70/16 on his stock and no issues. He even mounted the same on a few others with 0 issues on stock rims. He mounted mine today and when the wheel is cranked all the way to the right the tire rubs on the leaf spring but when you turn it all the way to the left it does not rub. Anybody ever heard of this issue and why it rubs while turning right and not left? Does the f250 have steering stop adjustment bolts?
