Rims off a 2001 on to a 2006 F250?

Should be no prob correct? Buddy has a set of aftermarket 20" wheels on a 2001. Want to throw them on my 2006. All net research shown they are the same bolt pattern. Can someone back me up? Thanks!

i believe the size of the lug nut's pitch/thread are the only difference, that may not matter but you would def want to find out.

Bolt pattern is the same; however, your '06 will require a different backspacing than a 2001.

Backspacing is how old guys fit rims. Its more consistent than offset and much easier to figure out.

However, 99-04 wheels will fit fine on an 05 and up. Although the different backspace requirements will mean those wheels will stick out farther on said 05 and up. Shouldn't be more than 1 to 2 inches. Nothing major unless you don't like your tires outside of your fenders.
