I had a buddy that worked at discount tire a few years ago, he basically told me that the nittos are junk. He said that guys with half tons were bringing them back and wanting there money back. I would never buy a set especially with the weight of our trucks. Check c-list, it might seem crazy but you never know what you will find. I just picked up a set of toyo mt's with 200 miles for about half of the retail price.

I just can't bring myself to order them! The local retailer that usually has them is $450/ea INSTALLED! Available or unavailable, I just can't bring myself to spend the dough knowing I will have to pay to have them installed also once they come in.

I have been watching craigslist like a hawk... can't find anything in New England. I really feel like if I buy anything other than the Toyo's I am going to be kicking myself in a few weeks or months.

Pay to play, yes... I have come to terms with that. I just can't pay more for mail order than a local installed price. I want to shoot myself at the moment because they sold the last set in the warehouse 2 days ago. I spent too long waffling back and forth about spending the money.

I've had 2 sets of the nitto trail grapplers and they have held up great with rotating them. Quite a few of my buddies run them with good luck also. Toyo mt and nitto trail grapplers are pretty close in price last time I check. The other no name brands I'm not sure about.

I ran nitto terra grapples on my H2 for 5 years. Never towed but that's a fat pig in her own right. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again
