Talking Fuel hostage wheels Deep lip questions

Im looking at running a new wheels setup on my 01 F250 7.3l

right now im running 35x12.5r20s hancook POSs (i hate them, cant get them balanced to save my life) and they look tiny on my truck
thats because i have a 8" lift now,

im running some Raceline wheels, black 20x10 predators, i like them, theyre okay,

but i really love this deep lip look ive been seeing on some trucks,

i want to get a set of 5 (matching spare) fuel hostage wheels deep lip, im going to be putting them on some Nitto trial grapplers, 38x15.5r20s, should look perfect with the 8" lift,

the question im looking at, is that they come in 20"x12" and 20"x14",

which should i run? the difference in the back spacing is only 1/4"
the price difference is about $30 per rim so $150 total, to go from 12" wide to 14" wide

so does that mean the 14" sticks out 1 3/4 farther to give it a even crazier deep lip look? or would that be too much,

AND would that fit on my truck?

The backpacking is measured from the center of the wheel. Which size had what spacing? Also I would get the 20x14's. I have 20x12s with 38x15.50 but like the wider look of the x14's

Here are pics of mine. These are 12 wide XD armours with MT atz's.

The 14 wides look almost flush with the tires where mine, the tires still balloon out a little wider than the wheelsn

I have 2" spacers also, that's why they stick out of the body so far. I don't know the wheel offset.

20x12 has a -44 offset
20x14 has a -76 offset

that being said, the 20x14 will have much bigger lip because its a wider wheel and also a bigger offset. the 20x14s are prolly what you want, only issue you may run into is rubbing. Im not familiar with that high of a lift and what fits and what doesnt so hopefully someone can chime in with whether or not it will rub

based on what you said, you want the 14... yes it is that much wider.

at 8" you might have to space your bumper out for 15.50's, you will clear them fine but they may rub lock to lock

You will need to run spacers to clear your leafs. Contact Cary at CT Performance or Fred Goeske of wheeladapter. 2" wheel centric and hub centric spacers are what you want.

You will also have to trim your bumper (or space it out) and trim the fender liner. I ran 38x15.50 on 20x14's with 9" lift on a 01. I had to do all of this. I had the same issues with 20x12's. It's an easy fix and looks great.

It is an awesome setup. Exactly what I am running on my 02 f350. 38x15.50 nitto muds 20x12 -44 fuel hostage wheels. perfect setup with my 8.5' lift. I wouldn't recommend the 20x14 way over kill

20x14 with -76 offset will stick out within 1/4" or so compared to the pic I posted of my 20x12s (with 2" spacers)

Mine was lifted when I got it so I don't know "exactly" how much it is lifted. Compares very close to most other 8" lifts i see though

Here is what CAN happen with the real wide wheels/tires... look at my fenders.

Also your bumper will need to be cut some or moved forward like said above
