I knew I would lose some 'cool' factor doing this, but the lighter, thinner tire has already shown better MPGs on the computer and scangauge. I also wanted less stress on the front end and with all the other issues I have going on, I just decided to play it safe...

At first, it was like getting a completely different hair cut... You like it but not too sure... Maybe you will get used to it... LOL

The new tires tower over the worn out 35x12.5x18 MT's... By the end, the MT's were closer to 33x13.5 due to mushroom effect on stock rims... LOL

Overall I am happy ridin' on 35" skinny tires...

285/75/18 Toyo ATII.

Truck is filthy...

This is good to hear because I have been thinking of switching to a thinner tire when mine are ready to be replaced. I am guessing it will be sometime next year.

No, it's taller than my old 35x12.5. It's 34.8x11.3 per the toyo site. If it were a 16" wheel, it would be closer to 32"

maybe your right i just didnt figure 35 would fit without lift or rubbing on a 6.0 and it looked like you had some room.

I am leveled 2.5" up front. they are actually taller than my old 35x12.5's.

Lots of folks run the 295/70/18 also with stock suspension on the 6.0. It's a 34.5x11.8.
