Question between 18 and 20 inch rims

Right now I have 35 R16's BFG....

So im looking at changing the rims and tires on my truck...
Tires and rims that i want...

Toyo ATII 35x12.50R18 with an 18x9 inch rim

or

Toyo ATII 35x12.50R20 with an 20x10 inch rim

I did the "math" and the difference in rubber between the two rims is 1 inch...

Question's

1. Will there be a "ride quality difference" with 1 inch difference of rubber between the two rims?

2. Will I have any clearance issues with the 20 or 18 inch rims (different back spacing)?

3. Any other things that i need to know going from 18 or 20 besides the $$$ difference?

Suspension
Going to upgrade to 3.0 King Coil overs with about 4.5 inch lift in the front later on (right now it has a level spacer lift in the front).
