i was wondering if someone had a f250 that had 20" rims if it was possible to go down to 18" rims? i didnt know if bigger rims meant bigger rotors like on some trucks or how that worked. i have a 2010 f250

You shouldn't have any issue. I believe the minimum wheel size you can run on an 08-10 Superduty is 18".
