Tire Pressure Sensor Fault

Hey all,

Lately I've been getting a TPMS fault message "TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR FAULT" that is intermittent. In my search to find out what is causing the issue, I came across this at ford-trucks.com...

Tire Pressure Sensor Fault - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

Guy owns a F-250 with remote start and every time he plugged in his iPhone or iPad, it would get this message. Seems there is an issue with the RF frequency interferring with the remote sensor for the truck - hence the intermittent issue for me - only happens when I connect my charger to the USB of the truck and plug in my iPhone.

Is there a fix for this?

I also got the TPMS Fault message last night, but then it was gone the next time I drove the truck. I'm new to this truck, and this is my first truck with TPMS (my wife's Maxima has it, but her car shows the actual pressure in each tire, and will tell you when one is low) - is the fault message indicative of low tire pressure or is there a "Low Tire Pressure" warning for that?
