Falken Wild Peaks or Toyo Open Country 2s

I currently run 285/75/16 Falken Wild Peaks on my 05 Excursion 6.0 4x4. I have had the wild peaks in 37" on my 4 door Rubicon Jeep. I love the Falkens BUT I will be upgrading to a 35" tire on my Excursion. The 50,000 mile warranty is not available in the 35" Falken

So I seen the Toyo Open Country's look similar to the Falken Wild Peaks. They offer a 50,000 mile warranty in the 35" tire but cost about $30-$40 more a tire. I have no experience in Toyos but a lot of people like them.

Should I just buy the Falkens that I love with out a warranty or try something new with a warranty? The Falkens are quiet, good on road riding tire and are a decent off road tire.

Please vote! This is for my daily driver that I also go to the woods in.

where are you thinking about purchasing these tires from? I haven't had either of these tires myself, but I've bought both sets of BFG AT from discount/americas tires (east/west coast) and they cover the tires for like $30/tire no questions asked except for what size? lol.

Ok editing last post:

If you get the falken tires from discount tires, you can purchase to lifetime warranty for $30/tire and have it for the 35's you're wanting. so either way it looks like you're going to have to be paying about 30-40 bucks more... I'd just get them through discount tires. I've had nothing but awesome customer service from them with the best prices around. tires this size are expensive as it it. Good to have a piece of mind knowing they're covered if something happens. good luck!!!

Yes I bought my last Falkens through Discount and they have great service. So if I pay the extra $ for the lifetime warranty (with Discount Direct) they will still give me a 50,000 mile warranty even though Falken wont in the 35" size?

never ran the falkens however if toyos are pricey...

kumho road venture a/t's, i ran them on my 04 excursion great all terrain traction, quite road manners, good tread life and...Great price.

toyo's are a little pricey if your gonna spend big bucks get the procomp extreme A/T big $$$ but will last long long time.

The Toyos & Falkens look similar. The reason why I like the looks of the Toyos is because of the more siping. The more I look at pics online the more I like them! lol Maybe Ill give them a try. Toyo does offer a 500 mile or 45 day return..........
